About Grace with Silk

Adorn your life.

Hi, I'm Valerie Sisco, thanks for stopping by!

I write about family, the single life, faith, travel adventures, culinary aspirations and decorating dreams.

I want to take all of the pieces of my life -- the glossy, glowing, dazzling new adventures and the chipped, paint-peeling, threadbare experiences of the past -- to adorn my life.

Adornments of a life more beautiful.

I would love to hear from you! Connect with me at valerie@gracewithsilk.com.

A little note on the photos: all photos on the blog are my own, unless otherwise noted.

About Valerie Sisco

I love to adorn my home with vintage treasures and flea market finds. In 2006, my home was featured in Sanford, Florida's annual holiday tour of homes.

I'm a native of Pittsburgh and as anyone who lives there knows, once you're a Steelers fan, you're always a Steelers fan. Once upon a time I faced down my fear and competed in an adult figure skating competition in Atlanta.

I've eaten creme brûlée inside the Eiffel Tower in Paris and cooked up pasta and tiramisu in Italy. I'm endlessly planning my next travel adventure {that preferably includes a delicious culinary escapade}!

And there's always coffee. When my head hits the pillow at night, I'm already dreaming of my morning cup of java.

I have a degree in public relations journalism and I'm a corporate writer for a healthcare organization in Orlando, Florida, where I'm currently adorning my life.
